Students can work for 15 hours a week per semester in addition to their studies and then full time during the holiday. However, they are only employable after they must’ve lived in Switzerland for at least 6 months.

If a student already holds a masters degree from any university in the world they need not wait for 6 months, they can right apply for a job in the country. They only need to keep their student status and can keep their jobs if continue to keep good academic standing.

Foreign students also partake in some jobs in these facilities, these tourists come in all year long so student jobs are not restricted to the summer alone.

Service and fast food industries have a constant need for staff, part-time jobs here are very flexible and allows students the chance to work and study without pressure from any of the two. Students work conveniently and study simultaneously because of the ease with they can juggle or manage their time.
