As noted above, Swaziland's higher education system consists of four institutions of higher learning (two privately-funded accredited universities, one public university, and one public technical college).
The Limkokwing University of Creative Technology
This is a private internationally recognized university located in Mbabane. The university is accredited and officially recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training.
The University offers courses in the following subjects: Chemical Engineering, Computer and IT Engineering, Mining and Metallurgical Engineering, and Mechanical engineering to name but a few. It offers undergraduate bachelor Degrees that usually take between 3 to 5 years to complete.
Southern African Nazarene University
It is a public university located in Manzini. It was established in 2010 and is a combination of three colleges the Nazarene College of Nursing, Nazarene Teacher Training, and Nazarene College of Theology.
It is recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training and is also a member of the Africa Association of Universities. It has 2 campuses, one in Siteki and the other in Manzini. The administration is done at the Manzini campus. The faculty of Theology is at Siteki Campus while the faculties of Health Science and Faculty of Education are at the Manzini campus.
Eswatini Medical Christian University
It is located in Mbabane and offers courses in health sciences, social sciences, and Information and Communication Technology. It is a university where Christian values and ethics are held in esteem.
University of Swaziland (Eswatini)
It is a public university located in Kwaluseni in Manzini. It has campuses in Luyengo and Mbabane as well.it has about 7000 students, with about 6700 being undergraduate students and the other 300 being postgraduate students.
It is affiliated to the Association of African Universities and the Association of Commonwealth Universities. The university is divided into 8 faculties which are located on its 3 campuses. The campus in Kwaluseni is the main campus, with the faculties of Commerce,
Humanities, Social Science, and Education, while the Luyengo campus has the Agriculture and consumer Sciences faculty, and lastly, the Mbabane Campus where the faculty of Health Sciences is housed.
The university mainly offers undergraduate degrees and a few postgraduate programs including 2 Ph.D. programs. The University of Eswatini offers distance learning and offers a Certificate in French, Diploma in Commerce, Diploma in Law, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Arts in Humanities, and Bachelor of Education in Adult Education.
