Application Requirements in Spain
The application requirements for admission into a Spanish university varies, however, there are general requirements that cut across different programs and universities.
General Documents
- Bachelors;
- A valid secondary school leaving certificate
- English/Spanish language proficiency
- Additional program-specific qualification exams (optional and determined by the university)
Masters;
- Relevant bachelors degree certificate or diploma
- Academic transcripts showing GPA in the last two years of study
Language Requirements
English;
Students that have taken the English language as a subject in secondary school can prove their level of English knowledge by showing their academic transcripts or results from their high school.
International exams like IELTS and TOEFL are accepted in various institutions in Spain
Spanish;
There are no specific Spanish language exams or tests that are associated with specific courses or universities. Since many universities in Spain have programs in Spanish, foreign students who need to take Spanish programs can take the Diploma de Español como Lengua Extrajera (DELE test). Results from this test are generally accepted across universities in Spain.
