Though academic performance is of importance, the strength of curriculum, proficiency in English, and other factors are also considered. Applications to universities can be done online by international students fitting the requirements of the respective universities.
To be considered for admission local students must have a minimum average high school performance of at least:
- Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC)2 out of 6, good
- Caribbean Advanced Placement Examination (CAPE)3 out of 7, good
However, if the students do not meet the minimum English Proficiency requirements, they may apply for conditional admission.
For international students the must take an entrance exam or prove that they can meet the English proficiency requirements and if they do not meet these, then conditional admittance can be applied for. International Academic certificates will be evaluated before admission.
