Tuition Fee

The tuition fees for Polish citizens are paid in Polish currency, the Polish zloty (PLN). The cost also varies from program to program and for concise details, please refer to the tuition information on the page describing your selected program.

For international students, the general tuition for undergraduate and graduate programs at the university ranges from €2,500 to €5,200 for a year depending on the program selected. The university also accepts payments in installments, multiple times in one semester or twice in a year.

Scholarships

The university offers scholarships for international applicants who apply for SWPS University for the first time. Similarly, the Polish government, local authorities, or various organizations also provide scholarships and financial assistance to existing students of SWPS University, such as academic achievements, sports achievements, and low-income scholarships.

International Applicants Scholarship

The SWPS University scholarship for foreign applicants is provided to first-time students towards their first-year tuition fees.

Students who can apply include international candidates applying to undergraduate (Bachelor's degree) and graduate (Master's degree) programs taught full-time in English. Interested candidates must indicate their need for this scholarship and complete an application procedure that involves applying online with specific supporting documents.

NAWA Scholarship –“Poland as a First Choice”

This program provides scholarship opportunities for international students to the tune of PLN 2,000 (approx. EUR 460) every month to cover the student’s living costs during their studies in Poland specified by the Program Regulations.

Awardees include international applicants from countries listed in the NAWA Regulations. These students must apply to full-time graduate (Master's degree) studies in Polish or English and must have received an A or A+ score in the latest parametric evaluation by the Ministry of Sciences and Higher Education.

Academic Performance

Scholarships for academic, artistic, or athletic achievement are awarded by higher education institutions, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, and local governments. The amount of the scholarship is paid in Polish Zloty, depending on the type of scholarship.

  1. iRector’s Scholarship for Best Academic Achievement: Students who have completed the first year of education, achieved a high GPA (Grade Point Average), or have other tested academic, artistic, or athletic performance (for example, ranked higher in local or international competitions).
  2. The Minister’s Highest Academic Achievement Scholarship: students with outstanding academic, research, artistic, or athletic achievements (academic publications, co-authors participating in research projects, inventions or utility models, participating in art competitions or projects or international sports competitions)
  3. Diamond Grant: For students who hold a bachelor's degree or a 5-year comprehensive master's program, students complete the third year of study and research. Every year, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education provides 100 grants to the best students in Poland. In the past few years, thanks to the support of thesis consultants, several SWPS University students have received diamond grants and funds for the implementation of research projects. The grant amount is usually up to 200,000 PLN.
  4. Scholarships Issued By Local Governments: Low-income students with good academic performance can apply for scholarships issued by local governments at all levels. The number and number of scholarships are determined by the local government. Candidates should contact the appropriate office of the local government. Usually, the deadline is set at the beginning of October. Please consult your local authorities.

Sports Achievement Scholarship

Students representing SWPS University in national and international sports competitions are eligible for athletic performance scholarships. Depending on the success, students can apply for scholarships awarded by universities or the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
