Different individuals take to different forms of integration or assimilation into a new environment or community, however, there are very important documents every student traveling to Poland must have with them. These documents are useful in more ways than one for the following;
- For their residence permit
- Many universities might accept scanned copies of the students' credentials, however, they will insist on seeing the students originals before the student can register or begin classes
- Students who wish to buy a car or rent one in Portugal must have an already existing driver's license, or make a new one while in the country.
- Identification purposes
- Many students seeking employment in Portugal might also need to provide other documents that attest to their skills or abilities.

Academic diplomas
- A level certificate
- Bachelors/ Post-graduate certificates
- Transcripts
- O-level Certificate (if applicable)
- All other certificates and added certifications where applicable i.e. Masters, Ph.D.
Identification documents:
- Birth Certificate
- Passport
- Marriage Certificate (applicable for married students who wish to carry their spouses along with them)
- Drivers license
University documents:
- Conditional acceptance letter
- Unconditional acceptance letter
- All Payment receipts
Medical documents:
- Medical report (if applicable)
Other documents:
- Printed flight itinerary
- 12 passport photocopies
Please kindly make sure to have the originals and 6 (certified/notarized) photocopies of each enlisted document.
