Having been a mainstay in the tertiary education of Northern Cyprus for 28 years now, EUL has developed into a mature and advanced University offering quality education.
The university currently offers 7 vocational college courses, over 40 undergraduate, 35 plus graduate programs, over 20 Master's programs and more than 10 Ph.D. programs to cater for a wide range of students.
The University has 8 faculties which include Law, Engineering, Tourism, Architecture, Arts and Social Science, Pharmacy just to name a few.

EUL offers relatively reasonable tuition fees to all its international students, with an exceptional standard of education compared to many of its European counterparts.
The tuition fee at the university is very affordable for students from different backgrounds, providing students with access to quality education at a reasonable price.
The all-inclusive package for new students includes payment for tuition fees, registration fees, health insurance fees, ID card certification, and other related provisions such as free bus services and on-campus wireless internet services.

Scholarships at EUL
Students enrolled in EUL are awarded flexible payment arrangements, and several university-sponsored scholarships so as to further reduce the cost of learning and hence easing the financial burden.
For all its international students the European University of Lefke immediately offers a 50% waiver on tuition on undergraduate programs once they have been formally accepted.
Students who are siblings are also entitled to a further discount resulting in their tuition bring reduced to as much as 75% less. The university designed this scholarship to build a legacy and make EUL a family name across many different countries and continents.
There are also other complementary scholarships such as gifted student’s scholarships and grants, which is based on a student’s previous semester CGPA(usually 3.5 out of 4.0) and sports scholarships which is based on an individual’s level of accolades (particularly at National level).
For such scholarships, the incentives awarded may include, reduction of tuition ranging from 25-100%, student employment in any of the school facilities, stipend as well as free accommodation.
As such, this definitely goes to show, that EUL is the ‘University of Choice’, as it goes out of its way to make sure the students’ needs and issues are addressed.

The European University of Lefke- "The right choice to be ahead". Established as an initiative of the Cyprus Science Foundation, the European University of Lefke was established in 1990. EUL as it known to its students is situated in the western part of Northern Cyprus.

The University of Lefke boasts of seamless, 21-st century-look and comfortable, housing for students on campus stay. These apartments have a single, double, and triple individuals' per room set-up. On average the yearly cost for accommodation is between 3200usd- 4000usd meals, and 1500usd-2000usd (both estimations inclusive of water bills) without meals on-campus.

The pricing is totally dependent on the custom requirements of the student but generally ranges between $1500 -$2500 (exclusive of water and electricity bills) per student for a period of 12 months.

The university campus canteen offers different meals 3 times a day, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The dishes include but are not limited to meat (all sorts), rice, pasta, potatoes, dairy, pizza, and vegetarian meals.
With regards to payment, students are offered different options, for example, a yearly fee for all meals or a pay per meal basis.
The dining meals are prepared in a professional manner by a well-trained, hygienic, and friendly kitchen staff and taste delicious.
The canteen itself is well-spaced, ventilated and is always clean, thus one can eat delightfully in a conducive environment.
Again one would be delighted to know that for lunch and supper, desserts are offered to make these meal times the 'hot favorites' among students.
To complement the canteen, within the university campus, there are multiple restaurants where students can enjoy different dishes and also several nearby supermarkets to meet each person’s preference when it comes to food and drink
EUL students and staff members can use the buses for free to travel around the city and nearby cities. Some of the localities to which the bus travels to include, Guzelyurt, Doganci, Yedidalga, and Lefke residential area.
In addition, the school also has free weekend buses which transport students to Lefkosa the capital city.
The University bus travels through different routes and is reliable and prompt in all designated bus stops to pick up students.
The bus services start from 7:00 am in the, while the last bus leaves the campus terminal at 11:00 pm.
The buses are spacious, modern, and even come with Wi-Fi allowing you to stay connected to social media friends and family even on the go!

Sometimes referred to as Lefgios, Lefke, or Lefka. The town is located on the northern foot of the Troodos mountains and is surrounded by mountains.
The town is famous for being very hot during summer and very cold in winter as a result of being very close to high mountains.
The town hosts more than 3000 inhabitants however it is surrounded by a number of small villages, for instance, Gemikonagi, Camlikoy, Baglikoy, and Yesilirmak which increases the population of the district.
The town is 74 km away from Lefkosa and has a great transport network that connects it to places like Girne and Famagusta effortlessly.
Lefke also has a hotel called Soli Inn which was constructed a long time ago and is a famous place for visiting tourists. The hotels are a hunting ground for student part-time jobs.
There are a number of banks in Lefke ranging from Turkish Bank, Kibris Kredi, Iktisat, Ticaret, and Lefke Cooperation Bank.
The European University of Lefke is the biggest university in the area and it is home to a lot of international students. The town has impressive cafes, coffee shops, bars, and clubs where students, locals, and tourists get to hang out.
