International students and travelers must carry the following mandatory documents when traveling to New Caledonia.
- A valid passport, valid for 3 months upon entry.
- Travel insurance certificate or health insurance.
- A valid long-stay visa
- Proof of purpose of travel and stay.
- Guarantee of return (return ticket)
- Driver’s license or international driving permit.
- Copy of routine and mandatory vaccination certificate

- proof of accommodation in New Caledonia
- Proof of sufficient funding for the duration of the stay in New Caledonia.
- International driving license

- Proof of university acceptance and the duration of the study.
