The international student department is in charge of dorm allocation to students. The range of available accommodation varies greatly, but all satisfy specific standards and are located within a short distance from the different campuses.

At the Brabant campus, the university makes a reservation on behalf of students at the student hotel. A standard room for a student hotel starts from €500. The monthly rent covers all the utility bills, internet, security, a gym, and a gaming area.

The Venlo campus makes accommodation reservations on behalf of students with their partner agencies. Student dorms in Venlo are starting from €360 monthly. Utility bills are included in these prices and the room contains all the necessary furnishing, equipment, and appliance.

Off Campus Accomodation at Has University of Applied Sciences

Some students choose to reside in private houses and apartments according to their budget. Students can choose from several housing options and the university often assists them in arranging these accommodations with the landlords.

The expense of leasing off-campus apartments changes from area to area in proximity to the city square and they have different conditions for rent. Commonly, the cost of renting an apartment a month usually starts from €500.

Renting an apartment out of campus usually means that utilities such as electricity, water, heating, cable tv, and internet all come separate from the rent and students would have to pay the utility bill. Transportation at Has University of Applied Sciences

North Brabant has a sophisticated transport system comprising of trains, trams, buses, metro and other transport systems around the town to the university, it is very cheap and very comfortable. Student dormitories are usually around 5 minutes' walk to the campus, thus, reducing the cost of transportation.

The student transport card is on a fixed 40% discount. Thus, a student pays almost half of the price while using public transport services. It is advised for new students to get the Ovikaart upon arrival to enable them to use the public transport system.
