Every country in the world has its rules and regulations concerning foreigners. International students who wish to study in Namibia must ensure that they have the following document when traveling to Namibia.
Mandatory Documents
- Health Insurance
- A passport that is valid for at least 6 months, together with onward travel documents,
- Proof of accommodation
- 3 months bank statement or proof of sufficient funds for the duration of your stay.
- Please also ensure that you have sufficient blank visa pages, not endorsement pages, in your passport, with at least 3 consecutive/side by side blank pages.
- Police clearance from the home country
- Proof of acceptance from the university and the period of study
- Properly completed Visa application form
Students must not forget their identity documents, either in the form of a Passport, National ID, Birth Certificate, Driver's license, Marriage Certificate (applicable for married couples).
They must also carry the relevant academic certificates that they will use or that may be needed for their admission at the relevant universities. These include O Level Certificates, A level Certificates, Bachelors/ Post-graduate certificates, Relevant certificates i.e. Masters, Transcripts
University documents:
- Conditional acceptance letter
- Unconditional acceptance letter
- All Payment receipts
Medical documents:
- Medical report (if applicable)
- Yellow fever card(compulsory for some countries)
Other documents:
- Printed flight itinerary
- 12 passport photocopies
Please kindly make sure to have the originals and 6 (certified/notarized) photocopies of each enlisted document.
