The first 10 grades of education in Liberia technically are compulsory, consisting of a preprimary grade followed by nine years of basic education (6 years at the primary level and 3 at the junior secondary level). Primary education in Liberia encompasses 6 grades, from grades 1 to 6, and lasts 6 years. Primary Education in Liberia is free at government schools. Primary education is the stage where children start to make meaning of the environment and concepts around them.

Our Lady of Grace International School

Academics

The Elementary School (Grades 1-5)- The Elementary School section builds a solid foundation of learning skills and real-world experiences. The curriculum includes a strong literacy foundation, social studies, hands-on experiential science, and problem-solving math, all in a nurturing and supportive atmosphere to meet the students' intellectual, social, physical, and emotional needs.

Tuition and Fees

Tuition is divided into three payments which are to be paid in 3 stages in the months of Invoices are September, December, and March.

Light International School System (LISS)

This is a non-governmental and non-political school that is dedicated to providing a well-rounded Programme of activities, directed towards the development of the skills, talents, and self-confidence of each child.  The school is dedicated to educating students from diversity or nations, communities, and cultures to achieve academic excellence. American International School of Monrovia (AISM)

This is an Independent private, coeducational day school located in Monrovia which offers a rigorous American curriculum with a focus on international and global citizenship. The educational program here caters to students from Pre-Kindergarten to the 10th grade. The school plans to expand to a fully accredited and completed high school program in 2021- 2022.

This is a non-profit, coeducational school in Monrovia, which offers early childhood, elementary, junior secondary, and senior high school in Monrovia, Liberia, West Africa. Classes are divided into 2 sections as follows:

  • Lower-Elementary Division (Grades 1st- 3rd grade)
  • Upper Elementary Division (Grades 4- 6)

Children are taught the core subjects including language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies, and students participate in additional special classes, such as computer, French, music, library, physical education, cultural dance, and art. Students are also prepared for the primary school leaving examinations.

Tuition and fees- the school offers its program tuition-free so that students unable to pay the fees required by public schools can receive an education.
