Present-day shopping in Latvia comprises of huge shopping centers, large malls that house grocery stores, shops, eateries, clothes stores, and even entertainment spots, all in one place. There are many market communities and shopping centers in Latvia, the large number of them being in Riga.

The bigger the city, the more the number of shopping centers, supermarkets, and malls. Big shopping malls in Riga pull in more customers and you can nearly go through a whole day in these shopping centers.

Numerous small districts and cities in Latvia have just small numbers of malls and shopping centers, regardless they have a good number of supermarkets and grocery stores to fulfill the shopping needs of residents.
