Interestingly, Latvian universities and the government find many ways to make studying in the country less monotonous for its foreign students with the availability of scholarship schemes and tuition funding programs.
Presently, a good number of foreign students in Latvia have received some form of tuition support for their studies in the country, and there are further plans to increase this number.

Latvian Government Scholarships for International Students:
The government of Latvia has created a scholarship scheme for certain groups of international students pursuing a degree program in Latvia. The scholarship is available to all programs and all levels from bachelor to Ph.D.
The amount of the scholarship for bachelor's and masters is €500 and for the Ph.D. level, it is €670. International students who can apply for this funding must hail from the eligible countries listed by the government.
Latvian Fellowships For Research
This is for international students who wish to do their research or research projects in Latvian universities. The scholarship amount is paid differently, successful students are offered €30 per day and an additional €300 towards their accommodation at the end of the month. The total value of the scholarship is €1,200 and with this students can sustain themselves comfortably in Latvia.
Summer School Scholarship
This scholarship is for international students who are enrolled in universities outside of Latvia who wish to study in Latvia during summer. The amount of this scholarship is €711 and it is offered to students from different countries.
University Scholarships
International students enrolled in English-taught programs can receive tuition funding and waivers towards their studies at many Latvian universities. This scholarship includes 25% to 100% off tuition or academic costs towards their studies in Latvia. Some universities with scholarships programs for international students include;
