Zarqa is a beautiful city in jordan with a population of 635,160 inhabitants. Because of its weather and the colour of the sky, the name Zarqa was given to the city and by definition means the "Blue City". Zarqa is the capital of the Zarqa Governorate and stands as the second most populated city in Jordan after Amman. The city is divided into five districts that are well connected. It is linked to Amman and Syria by the principal Hejah Rayway which facilitates the exports and the imports. It is the major industrial city in the country, and is home to more than 50% of companies. The standard of living in the city as compared to the others remains low.
