 The Princess Sumaya University of Technology is a private and non-profit tertiary institution established in 1991. It remains the only technology based university in the country till date. The main vision of the founders was to establish a platform to train students and qualify them to be the frontline persons in the domains of Information and Communication Technology. The university offers undergraduate, and masters degree programs in Computer Sciences, Engineering, and Business related studies.

The Philadelphia University in Jordan is located in the city of Amman, the capital and the biggest city in the country. The university was created in the year 1989 and situated along the Jarash road about 20 km to Amman. It has in Total eight  faculties equipped with modern appliances and technology. Since its creation, the university did not relent to prepare and equip the students with skills, expertise, and values that continually guide them to excel in the career and in the society at large.

Situated in the heart of Amman, The University of Jordan (UJ) is the oldest university in Jordan, established in the capital city of Amman by Royal Decree in 1962. It has evolved into comprehensive university with second branch in the port city of Aqapa. UJ’s mission is not only high academic excellence, but also applying the principles of quality management and the latest technologies in its programmes and strategies. UJ has achieved international accreditation for their Medicine, Rehabilitation, Pharmacy, Nursing, Dentistry, Engineering, Information Technology, and Natural Science programmes. UJ has qualified academic staff who all work towards their ambitions to excel. Many of them have held key roles in academic, administrative and political fields in Jordan, some of them are ministers, advisers, deputies and heads of universities, while some have excelled in innovation, scientific research and literature. 

The Jordan University of Science and Technology founded in 1986, is a recognized by it academics, scientific research activities, its engagement to train students in a well organized campus. The university welcomes thousands of of students every year. Its supportive campus lifestyle and culture distinguish it from the other universities, and engages the students in various learning activities, a door to enhance skills and expand their learning experience. Currently the university enrolls about 23000 students including 15% of international students, and offers 143 bachelors, Masters, and PhD programs through its 15 faculties.

Established in 1991, The Hashemite University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Zarqa. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Jordan, The Hashemite University (HU) is a large coeducational Jordanian higher education institution. The Hashemite University (HU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor's degrees, master's degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study.

Founded in 1981, Mutah university is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the medium city of Al Karak, Karak. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Jordan, Mutah University (MU) is a large coeducational Jordanian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion. Mutah University (MU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study

Zarqa University is located in Zarqa, a beautiful city for studies. The university was founded in 1994. It is a private owned university which counts currently about 9000 students. The university offers in total 43 majors. To maintain its values and provide excellent education, the institution has collaborated with three major universities IAU, FUIW, and AArU as external assessors. 

Established in 1976, Yarmouk University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Irbid. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Jordan, Yarmouk University (YU) is a very large students) coeducational Jordanian higher education institution.

Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan, founded in 1993, is a private university located in Amman, Jordan It is accredited by the Jordanian Ministry of higher education and Scientific research. As of 2008 there were 8,000 students enrolled in the university of whom 14% are international students from 28 countries. As is the case in all other Jordanian universities, the credit-hour system is used in the university.

Established in 1997, Al-Balqa' Applied University is a for-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the small city of Al-Salt  Balqa. This institution also has a branch campus in Sareeh. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Jordan, Al-Balqa' Applied University is a small coeducational Jordanian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion. Al-Balqa' Applied University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor's degrees, master's degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study.

Tafila Technical University was established in 2005. The university is located in the famous Al-Ais Hills which promotes the splendid view of the town. The university offers undergraduates and postgraduate programs in Engineering, Business, Arts, and most importantly Educational studies. The programs and the professional courses offered are designed to equip the students with skillset and expertise to succeed in today's over changing and challenging job markets both locally and globally.
