These are some of the basic requirements for admission into a primary school in Japan. these are however not limited to the ones listed below and differ from school to school.
- report Cards from the past two school years (if available)
- a Confidential Student Recommendation Form (English or Japanese) filled out by the most recent teacher.
- A copy of the applicant's birth certificate or passport
- The Applicant's photo
- A family photo (snapshot is acceptable)
- Application fee per applicant, non-refundable
- A copy of the applicant's vaccination record.
- copy of the certificate of birth.
- a completed enrollment application form
- the applicant’s most recent school records
- assessment test results
- passport size photographs
- completed and signed registration forms
- Special pedagogical reports, where applicable
- A valid passport of the child
- A valid passport, ID, or driver's license of Parents or guardian
- The Proof of address (copy of a bill in the name of the payer)
- A non-refundable application fee
- Students visa transfer letter (if transferring from another school)
- proof of bank account for payor (with official bank stamp)
- the study permit (for foreign students)
- proof of a scholarship if any
