Undergraduate Programs

Tests

Admission for bachelor’s degree studies is associated with GPA as well as SAT and other standardized test scores. Most of the courses grant entrance to students with a high school average of around 80 or higher. For more demanding faculties such as engineering, the average must be above 90, and SAT scores should be around 1400 or more. Those who did not finish their high school in nations where English is spoken are required to pass English proficiency tests such as IELTS or TOEFL!

Admission requirements

Basic requirements for admission to Bachelor’s degree courses are transcripts from high school or matriculation certificate, proficiency in Hebrew, and sufficient scores in psychometric entrance exams. Certain faculties of universities and colleges have more requirements such as interviews and additional examinations. Israel's citizenship is needed for those students who want to appear for certain programs such as physiotherapy and veterinary medicine. High admission requirements are needed for fields such as medicine, psychology, law, and engineering.

Entrance Requirements

Secondary school diploma equivalent to Israeli matriculation certificate includes Australia's HSC and the English GCE comprising 2 ‘A’ and 3 ‘O’ level. Students whose high school diploma is not equivalent to the Israeli matriculation certificate must have finished an additional year of study in international universities or a pre-academic preparatory course at Israeli universities.

Psychometric Entrance Examination

The Entrance Test for Psychometrics is done by the Israeli national Institution regarding Testing And Evaluation (NITE).  Results are valid for 5 academic years following the exam date. The test can be taken any number of times provided there is a gap of ten months between the two testing sessions. Students receive results regarding the institutions to which he or she has applied. This Psychometric Entrance Examination is carried out in many languages such as Spanish, French, Russian, English, Arabic, and Hebrew. For students whose native languages are not these, a special version of the test is administered. These questions appear in English as well as Hebrew and difficult terms are expressed in more languages.

For master's level studies:

To document your eligibility, please submit your diploma and transcript for all semesters of studies. This includes any first-level degrees you have earned. Thus, all three years of studies must be documented with transcripts and diplomas. If you have taken post-secondary courses submit the following documents through RocApply for a post-graduate degree:

  • ALL UNDERGRADUATE admission criteria must be met with exemption and special admission if you have an Israeli undergraduate degree already
  • Transcripts for your post-secondary studies
  • Final results for the state exam
  • Language Proficiency
  • Identification documents
  • Other relevant certificates

Takeaway!

These documents must be submitted onto our portal, but first preference is directed towards Identification documents and Transcripts. Different universities have different requirements akin to their establishment. Here for undergraduate students, one should provide enough documentation to be enrolled. This is the same for post-graduate programs, be sure to check your list before flying!
