Accommodation In Guinea for students

Find Programs
(Bachelor's, Master's & PhD)

Students studying in Guinea Bissau have the following accommodation options the can choose from. Let’s take a brief look at some of them.

StudentResidence- these are cheaper and reduce the burden of looking for accommodation and constant shopping as food and accommodation are provided on campus. This makes life easier for students.

Shared Apartments- students can rent apartments as a group and share utilities and bills depending on the conditions of stay.

If students can rent an apartment in twos then it means they each pay half of the bills, making it more affordable for them. Some properties, however, allow more than two to rent a single apartment, depending on the size of the place.

Private Apartments/ studios – these apartments or studios vary in size. Some are one bedroomed, two bedroomed or three bedroomed. Students get to share the lounge area and a kitchen as well.

Some studios and apartments come with fitted wardrobes and appliances, free Wi-Fi, a balcony, showers, and tubs. Students only have to buy their own groceries and toiletries as these are not provided. These are however more costly than simple apartments.

Homestays- Homestays offer the best experience in a foreign place. They provide a family atmosphere and setup for students. Imagine sharing the Guinean lifestyle with Local family and enjoy a lot of activities.

Some families even share bedrooms with the visiting student at a cost. Homestays however do not have to have the homeowner present as some may let out their house and everything to the visiting students on condition that it is kept well and intact.
