Guam Visa Requirements for international students

Travelers to Guam need to obtain a visa unless they are from a visa-exempt country or under a US Visa waiver. Citizens from one of 12 countries in the Guam and Mariana Islands visa waiver program including Australia, Brunei, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Nauru, New Zealand, Papua, new guinea, south Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, and the united kingdom are required to present a signed copy of the I-736 form and can stay in Guam for 90 days visa-free.

Other countries including Denmark, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Sweden, Slovenia, and Portugal can also travel to Guam for visits of up to 90 days under the US visa waiver program.

To be eligible for or to apply for a Guam Visa the following are a prerequisite.

  • must have a passport that is valid for at least six months
  • negative COVID Test
  • 2 passport photographs 35x45mm with white background
  • An acceptance letter from the University of Enrollment.
  • a plane ticket and a transit visa
  • Students also have to show proof of funds to cover their trip.
  • Proof of approved accommodation booking
  • Letter of invitation, for study and business visa.
  • Original copy of the Travel Documents (e.g. Passport)Debit or credit card for payment
