Required documentation for entry into Ghanaian secondary schools varies depending on the school. There are public and private schools and these have varying requirements. Some of them are as follows:
- application form with two passport photos of your child
- copy of the child’s birth certificate or passport
- testimonial from the last school attended
- medical report of the child
- the child’s last term report card, or transcript
- an Application and testing fee (non-refundable)
- Reference letter from the previous school
- The transfer letter from a previous school
- Health clearance
- A Copy of the current year school report (if applicable)
- Transcripts for GCE O/LEVEL / IGCSE results (6th Form applicants)
- Students Transfer form or School Leaving Certificate (6th Form applicants)
- parent’s passport/ national identity card copies
- Proof of scholarship if available
- Medical Reports
- National identity document for students above 16
- a clearance letter from the previous school (if transferring)
- a transfer letter from the previous school (transferring students)
- Proof of Residence in Ghana
