Admission Procedures

Step 1

Applying for admission to this university is quite simple, you can easily fill our online electronic application form and send us the required documents to the following email address: [email protected]

The supporting documents required for the application include;

  • CV / Resume;
  • 2 photos;
  • Copy of international passport, translated into Georgian and notarized;
  • Copy of graduation / bachelor / relevant degree / diploma, translated and notarized;
  • Form of official marks, translated and notarized
  • English Language Proficiency Certificate (IELTS-6.0; TOEFL-78; B2 Level Other Relevant International Certificate)
  • Receipt letter from the university in case of international mobility.

Please note that 3-5 working days are required to evaluate the application.

Step 2

After receiving the required documentation, our staff member from the university will invite you for an online interview, after which you will be asked to pay an application fee of $ 100 (includes: translation/notarization of documents, application to the National Center for Education Quality Development).

Please note that the application fee is non-refundable and must be transferred directly to the university’s account.

Step 3

Student documentation is submitted by our representative to the National Center for Education Quality Development in Georgia. The student will receive an answer within 5 days to 1 month.

Step 4

Upon successful completion of the above procedure, the student must pay the tuition fee to receive a student certificate/enrollment letter from the university.

Tuition and Scholarships at Caucasus University

CU is one of the most important higher education institutions in Georgia and Eastern Europe. The University is committed to developing and strengthening international teaching and research partnerships. The innovation and internationalization of universities are at the core of our strategic goals for the next few years.

The university recognizes the needs of the global education market and supports the strengthening of international experience in education programs, including student mobility in joint education programs and international cooperation within research projects.

The university is a private learning institution and tuition fees apply, however, Caucasus University is one of the most affordable higher institutions in the region, with quality standards that can rival its western counterparts. The tuition fee varies from program level to the courses offered, however, foreign students can expect to pay the following;

Scholarships

The university now allows for part-time and full-time study options and offers various tuition discounts and scholarships to deserving candidates. New applicants are eligible to receive 50% to 100% tuition fee discounts or tuition scholarships during their studies at CU. 

Presently, local applicants can enjoy free tuition for their programs based on their grades in the national exams, and if they chose CU as their first choice university.  Participants have priority to choose any education program of Caucasus University and rank among the top 501 in the national examination. These students will receive free education throughout their studies.

Similarly, there are other co-funding or scholarship opportunities available to the general student population. They include;

National Standard Award

Candidates who prefer to choose Caucasus University courses and receive 100% or 70% government funding will receive 4 years of internal university funding.

Other financing tools include;

The triple-rated funding where 100%, 50%, and 30% of the funds are used for the TOP trio of each course in all colleges/schools.

There is also an education voucher where a competition will be held for participants throughout the year and the winners will receive training vouchers that will enable them to fund their education.

About Caucasus University

The history of the Caucasus University can be traced back to the establishment of the Caucasus Business School in 1998. Title: "Studium Pretium Libertatis" - "Education is the prerequisite of freedom”. CU provides students with in-depth knowledge, international lessons, and practical teaching. The training of highly qualified teachers is provided by internationally qualified teachers.

The academic fixtures at the university include schools of business, law, media, technology, public administration, humanities, and social sciences, tourism, medicine and health, economics, and education.

The University reserves the right to offer undergraduate, masters, medical and professional degrees to graduates who meet the requirements of Georgian law. The university has some training and certification programs per academic year.

The tourism program at Caucasus University has won a TEDQUAL certificate issued by the World Tourism Organization. The University of the Caucasus is the first in Georgia and one of the first regions to be successfully recognized.

The university also became a member of the AACSB in 2007 and was given the right to begin the assessment process in 2018. The Caucasus Business School has successfully passed the critical stages of the process and is preparing for its final enrolment.

CU has partnered with several universities around the world since its inception, and currently has 162 cooperative universities in 54 countries. Of foreign countries to receive and provide exchange programs for students, faculty, and administrative staff, as well as postgraduate programs. As a result, students have the opportunity to participate in exchange programs. They travel extensively abroad, while citizens of other countries study at Kafka University.

Ninety-eight percent of Caucasus University graduates and 80% of students are employed by private and public companies, companies, and international organizations in Georgia and around the world. The CU is one of the largest educational institutions in Georgia and the entire region, with modern amenities and facilities.

STUDENT LIFE AT CAUCASUS UNIVERSITY

Caucasus University is characterized by an active student life, which is led by the students' self-government in cooperation with the university administration. Student organizations play an important role in creating the social, cultural, and intellectual environment of the University. Similar associations are run by the students themselves, which help to develop leadership qualities.

The student life at the Caucasus University is diverse and active. CU students, in parallel with the educational process, are involved in university life and participate in extracurricular activities planned by the university. Caucasus University constantly supports them in the implementation of their ideas, opinions, and interests, as well as in the diversity of student life.

The main campus building has a long history and was built in 1909. From 1911 to 1924, the Armenian Theological Seminary was opened here. The building has been renovated for many years, preserving historical artifacts as much as possible. All parts of the old theological school can be restored.

Since 2010, Caucasus University has been offering academic courses in tourism, law, and economics in Batumi. Construction of the new CU Batumi campus has begun. The building will have modern amenities, a library, a laboratory, a playground, and a swimming pool.

Dormitories will also be built. In addition to undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the Caucasus University campus, the Batumi campus will also add two new departments - the Caucasus Maritime School and the Culinary Center. The campus will also have a state-of-the-art training center.

Exchange programs

CU is an international university with global standards, the institution has well over 152 partner universities from 53 countries around the world. They offer students exchange programs where students with high academic achievement travel to any of the partner universities to study for a year or a semester. There are also dual degree availabilities where a fourth-year student continues to study at a partner university and upon graduation is awarded two degrees, a CU diploma, and a partner university diploma.

Campus Infrastructure

CU’s campus boasts excellent, state-of-the-art, and modern infrastructures and amenities. There is a unique library, a book store, and a startup lab where business ideas are nurtured in reality. In the accelerator on campus, there is a media studio and an online radio studio, with a well-equipped electronics lab. Students also study in the architecture workshop and the eclectic Center for Peace Studies. There are also different courtrooms modeled for law students, an active sports arena; a literary cafe, and a cafeteria in this modern campus environment.
