The Rose Revolution brought about the entrance of the ‘New Georgia’ which is way better than where the country used to be. The huge changes have triggered many reformations that have pivoted the country’s economic stance, improving the standard of living for the average Georgian. The country’s upward trajectory is a story of triumph and comeuppance.

The road infrastructure in Georgia is very good, with modern highways connecting major cities. Along the roads, you will modern-esque areas with panoramic views and even wind turbines. The security and police reform are 87% effective and the crime rate is at an all-time low.

Wine lovers would most definitely fall in love with the eastern region of ‘Kakheti’ rich in history and have many beautiful castles and churches. Kakheti and the Alazani valley are the biggest wine regions of Georgia and has been dubbed the birthplace of wine.

At every corner of the city, there are wineries and foreigners are welcome to taste different flavors of the local wine that they produce. Many cities in Georgia are now famous for their historic landscapes and narrow cobble-stoned streets.

Adventure lovers can visit places like Kazbegi, and the road to the city passes through the Zhinvali water reservoir which was built in 1986. The dam has created a beautiful artificial lake with a perfect ambiance.

Batumi is one of the most beautiful cities in Georgia with some of the most dynamic sites and sounds. Some of the things to see in Batumi include Gonio Fortress, Ali and Nino statue, The Batumi Botanical Gardens, Chacha Clocktower and Dancing Fountains at night.

Georgian cuisine is very unique, meat-heavy and spicy, and every region of the country has its own kind of cuisine. Khinkali is one of the most famous Georgian dishes and it is basically juicy dumplings stuffed with meat or potatoes. Even more unique is how it is eaten, holding the crown and sucking the delicious juice then proceeding to eat the pastry covering.

Khachapuri is a traditional Georgian dish of cheese-filled bread and the most popular variation is the Algerian Khachapuri. It has an open-bowed shape and it is topped with a raw egg.

Churchkhela is a traditional Georgian dessert made out of nuts and raisins, dried in the shape of a sausage. There are various drink choices like lemonade and of course wine. The country is one of the oldest wine regions in the world.

Georgians are famous for their hospitality and with every generation, they get better. Young Georgians are now different from the older generation, Georgians in big cities speak English and many older Georgians speak fluent Russian. Georgians are successfully trying to establish themselves on the world map and build their economy.
