When applying for admission into Gambian secondary schools, students will sit for entrance tests. Parents of prospective students must note the basic requirements for various schools here, Some of which are as follows:
- Two passport-sized photos
- An original birth certificate or passport of the child
- A copy of passport or birth certificate (to verify age and official name)
- An original birth certificate or passport of one parent
- Two passport size pictures.
- A photocopy of the child’s birth certificate
- Parents identification documents
- Residence permit
- Proof of residence in the Gambia.
- a recent passport photograph
- Certified copies of all previous school records and reports
- Copies of external testing scores and educational psychological reports, including IEPs.
- Copy of immunization/vaccination record
- Signed COVID19 Waiver Form
- a completed enrollment application form
- assessment test results
- Special pedagogical reports, where applicable
- Proof of address (copy of a bill or a rental agreement)
- A non-refundable application fee
- study permit (for all foreign students)
- proof of a scholarship if any
- the child’s last term report card, or transcript
- Reference letter from the previous school
- The transfer letter from a previous school
- Transcripts for GCE O/LEVEL / IGCSE results (6th Form applicants)
- Transfer form or School Leaving Certificate
- a clearance letter from the previous school
