Universities in Gabon for international students

 The ‘’Université Omar Bongo’’ then ‘’Université nationale du Gabon (UNG)’’was established in 1970. It was re-named to ‘’Université Omar Bongo’’ in 1974 and is a full member of the Association of African Universities. The ‘’Université Omar Bongo’’ is a public institution based in Libreville and was the country's first university.

The University of Health Sciences with its four establishments and its doctoral school, remains more than ever recognized for the remarkable quality of its teaching and its supervision which must be preserved, even during the troubled times that just been experienced,  the Covid19 pandemic, the weakness of its operating budget and the chronic absence of an investment budget for several years. The University Institute of Organizational Sciences Sophie NTOUTOUME EMANE (IUSO-SNE), former National School of Secretariat (ENSS), is a higher education establishment with a professional vocation.

Masuku University of Science and Technology, created and organized by the law of January 29, 1986, initially included two educational establishments transferred from Libreville to Franceville  : the Faculty of Sciences and the National School of Engineers of Libreville

 African University of Sciences or Université Africaine des Sciences (UAS) - private higher education institution in Gabon. African University of Sciences was officially founded in 2006. The home of the main campus of African University of Sciences is Gabon's capital - Libreville.
