Accommodation

One bedroomed Apartment in City Centre in el Salvador costs about SVC 3 171.04, and an Apartment (1 bedroom) Outside of the city center costs SVC2 655.55. Several apartment accommodations in El Salvador come furnished with a bed and most of the basic furniture requirements. There are other accommodation options including dormitories and homestays which are more affordable.

Transport

Public transport is usually more affordable than private vehicles and flights. The prices for local transportation are as follows: One Litre of gasoline costs SVC 8.11, a One-way ticket for local transport costs about SVC SVC2.19  and a Regular monthly pass costs about SVC190.17. Travelers can choose the transport option that is more comfortable and convenient for them.

Rental Cars- there are several car hire options available in El Salvador and can be delivered elsewhere. Alamo Uno Rent a Car, Avis, Budget, and Quick Rent a Car are available car rentals in El Salvador.

Buses- Hypercolored American school buses run frequently throughout the country and are very cheap, usually about US$0.25 to US$5. weekend fares however can increase by up to 25%. Routes to some eastern destinations are categorized into ordinary, special, and super special. The last two options costing more, but are faster and more comfortable. intercity bus services begin between 4 am and 5 am and end between 6 pm and 7 pm.

Bicycle- Cycling is very popular in El Salvador, both as a recreational activity and means of transport. It is easy to negotiate through traffic when using a bicycle.

Taxis- most big cities in El Salvador have taxi services that are easy to get but are unmetered. Prices are reasonable but must be agreed upon before boarding. licensed cabs have an "A" precursor on the plate.
