The Protestant University in Congo (UPC) is a Protestant university teaching institution. It was created in 1959 on the initiative of the Protestant Church in Congo (Church of Christ in Congo) and benefits from civil personality. The Protestant University in Congo provides teaching in accordance with the programs recognized by the Ministry of Higher and University Education. However, the UPC has added a few courses of an ethical and theological nature. As such, it confers academic degrees (graduated, licensed, doctor).
