Required documentation for entry into secondary schools in the democratic republic of congo is as follows:

  • Primary school leaving certificate (form 1 entrants)
  • Reports for the last 2 years (form 1 entrants)
  • Nonrefundable application fee
  • 2 Passport size photographs
  • A copy of the child’s passport with a valid visa.

    Université Libre de Kinshasa (ULK)

    The ULK is the first secular Private University to emerge in the DRC. It was created in place of the University Institute of Law and Economics (IUDSE) from which it actually originated. It is a private Institution of public utility called to organize university education and to promote high-level scientific research programs. The training provided at the ULK is therefore aimed at anyone, young or adult, of any social condition, without distinction of race, tribe, religion, ideology or nationality, concerned with deepening or perfecting their knowledge in the fields of teaching provided at the university.

    The University of Goma is a public university in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The university was estblished in 1993 and it is located in the city of Goma, near Lake Kivu in the east of the country.

    University of Kinshasa

    Founded in 1954 under the name Lovanium University by the Catholic University of Louvain in collaboration with the Belgian Government, it became, through the reforms of 1971 and 1981, respectively the National University of Zaire (UNAZA), Kinshasa Campus and the University of Kinshasa.

    The Protestant University in Congo (UPC) is a Protestant university teaching institution. It was created in 1959 on the initiative of the Protestant Church in Congo (Church of Christ in Congo) and benefits from civil personality. The Protestant University in Congo provides teaching in accordance with the programs recognized by the Ministry of Higher and University Education. However, the UPC has added a few courses of an ethical and theological nature. As such, it confers academic degrees (graduated, licensed, doctor). The objective of the Protestant University in Congo is to provide higher level education in order to train design executives, a national elite capable of responding to the needs of society and the Church. Aware of the fact that the crisis in our country is essentially of a moral order, the Protestant University in Congo places particular emphasis on the dimension of Christian ethics in order to produce competent scientific operators, inspired by the fear of God and ready to serve the Community in faith and truth.
