It is a well-known scientific fact that lack of physical activity will endanger human health. Insufficient physical activity and reduced stimulation of the musculoskeletal system adversely reflect the normal function of all organs.
Lack of exercise is the fourth leading cause of death in the world, and people who participate in sports are less likely to suffer from various diseases.
The university strives to improve the quality of life and health of its students. In recent years, one of Algebra’s most important goals is to make physical education a compulsory first-year course for all undergraduate courses. The most important goals of the course:
In addition to the exercises planned in the physical education class, our students can also participate in organized sports activities and can also participate in Zagreb University Sports Federation competitions.
All courses require additional training time, as well as expert guidance and supervision, in order to best prepare for the competition.
To improve the quality and attractiveness of education, Algebra organizes and supports students to leave school to participate in international university competitions, such as Elektrijada, Tehnologijada, Universiade, etc.
Sports and science competitions allow students to participate in valuable connections, exchange experiences with students from other colleges and universities, and have fun.
The head of Algebra Sports is responsible for organizing, implementing, and supervising our sports and entertainment activities.
The student card ("X-ica") is used as proof of the use of students' rights and interests, such as meal expenses in cafeterias, discounts for public transportation, discounts for certain government agencies, etc.
The public student restaurant offers subsidized Erasmus+ student meals, and you can enjoy 3 high-quality meals a day. Foreign students in Croatia will receive a student ID during the first month of their trip.
