The University of Comoros is a public, multi-site university; the main campus is based in Moroni, and another center is located in Patsy on the island of Anjouan. Approximately 4,500 students are currently enrolled in the university.
Established in 2003, the university is a relatively young institution that includes the Department of Humanities, the Department of Law and Economics, the Department of Science and Technology, the Department of Arabic and Islamic Studies, the Teachers’ College, the Institute of Technology, and the School of Medical Studies.
