Comoros visa
All visitors traveling or entering Comoros are required to have a visa. Nationals of any country can obtain a visa on arrival or at the consulate for a maximum stay of 45 days.
According to the government website, visa fees are 30.00 euros or US$ 50.00 for stays of up to 45 days and free for transit visitors with a stay for a maximum of 24 hours
All visitors to Comoros must have a passport valid for 6 months and return or onward tickets.
The main types of visas issued in Comoros include:
Tourist Visa- this can be obtained on arrival for 30 Euros. This is for tourism purposes, visiting, and non-business related issues and is valid for 45 days
Transit visa- this is issued to foreigners who are traveling through Comoros and is free of charge. It is valid for 24 hours
Long stay visa- this is for a longer stay of over 45 days in Comoros and costs 255 euros.
Comoros Student Visa Application.
To be eligible for or to apply for a Comoros Visa the following are a prerequisite.
- A valid passport that is valid for 6 months a year upon arrival in Comoros.
- The Passport must have 2 blank pages.
- Copies of International Yellow fever vaccination certificates.
- Proof of income- bank statements or proof of financial soundness.
- Proof of acceptance into a university in Comoros.
- Photocopy of the passport.
- copies of travel itinerary or a round trip ticket
- properly filled out application forms with signature
- proof of visa fee payment
- Travel insurance for the duration of the stay.
- proof of accommodation in Comoros or hotel reservation
- 2 clear recent passport size photographs.
