Visitors to chad need to obtain a visa from any Chad diplomatic missions. Citizens from the following countries can visit Chad without requiring a visa for up to 90 days: Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Republic of Congo, cote d'Ivoire, equatorial guinea, Gabon, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Togo, and the United Arab emirates. Transit without a visa is only allowed for travelers continuing their trip within 48 hours without leaving the airport.
Mandatory registration with the police is required for all travelers of all nationalities within 72 hours of arrival in Chad.
Chad student visa
To be eligible for or to apply for a Chadian Visa the following are a prerequisite.
- A valid passport with at least 2 blank pages
- Passport validity is 6 months
- 2 passport size photos
- Declaration of any amount above 5 million CFA.
- Proof of accommodation booking
- copies of all travel itinerary
- Proof of sufficient funds to cover your stay in Chad
- properly completed application forms with signature and all details
- Recently taken passport size photographs.
- International yellow fever vaccination certificates.
- Hepatitis A and B, typhoid, malaria, and Rabies Vaccinations.
- Letter of invitation
- Proof of acceptance into university in Chad.
Note: Visa applications can be accepted or denied by the relevant authorities.
