Buses- this is the cheapest way to get around in Burkina Faso. Busses are available and serve most major cities like Banfora, Bobo, Ouagadougou, and Gaoua.

Trains- trains are available in Burkina Faso but are generally slower. If you are in a rush it is wiser to find other options.

Taxis- Taxis are the best way to get around in Burkina Faso. Taxi cabs are available everywhere and most of them are shared taxis. Prices are relatively cheap but double at night. Foreigners may be charged extra if they have a lot of luggage. Cabs can be identified by their green or white color. Green cabs are public and cheaper and white cabs are private and slightly expensive.
