Documents Students Should Carry to Australia

All set to journey far to Australia to begin life a student there, Australia is quite a distance as it is a country in Oceania and from any other continent, it will take at least 13 hours minimum to get there. There are important documents that you would need to leave home with and take along with you.

These documents are required for a good range of important uses from residents permits to even registering as a student and opening a bank account.
As such for your convenience, RocApply has put together a checklist of items you need to have with you below.

  • Academic diplomas
  • Bachelors certificate
  • Masters certificate
  • Secondary school leaving certificate
  • Any academic diploma
  • Academic transcripts (Official)
  • Scholarship documentation

Identification documents:

  • International Passport
  • Copy of your birth certificate
  • International driver's license (for students who would like to rent a car or purchase one while in Australia)
  • Marriage certificate
  • Change of name certificate

Please note that some of these documents must be notarized and/or authenticated by the responsible body in your home country.

 

University documents:

  1. Conditional acceptance letter
  2. Unconditional acceptance letter
  3. All Payment receipts

Medical documents:

  1. Medical report (if applicable)

Other documents:

  1. Printed flight itinerary
  2. 12 passport photocopies

Please kindly make sure to have the originals and 6 (certified/notarized) photocopies of each enlisted document.
