Banting International Postdoctoral Fellowship-This is a scholarship program offered by the Government of Canada for post-doctoral students. It offers partial funding to all nationals to study at any research institutes around the world.
- Eligibility- This open to all students studying at any university. Students must be studying Engineering, Humanities, Health, and Sciences
- Requirements-Students must provide their academic documents and relevant certificates from the bachelor's and master's level. The student must prove that they are studying towards a post-doctoral degree.
SAWISE Scholarship- this is a scholarship for sub-Saharan African women studying towards their bachelor's, masters, and Postgraduate degrees in any program. It offers partial funding.
- Eligibility- All African women from any country. These must be studying to get a bachelor's, master's, and Postgraduate degree.
Leadership Essay Competition -This is a creative contest that offers Partial Funding for students who wish to study in any African trade. The best essays in line with the requirements will determine the students to be chosen for the program.
- Eligibility- It is opento African citizens to study in any African country.
- Requirements-Creativity and relevant proof of study towards any degree.
Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarships-These is awarded to undergraduates with outstanding financial needs. Undergraduate Applicants are welcome to apply for up to $7,000 to be awarded per scholarship.
- Eligibility- Students must show that they have critical financial aid needs. Top priority will also be given to people with disabilities and female students who have previously been disadvantaged or overlooked.
- Requirements. Prospective candidates must have a proven record of leadership in their community.
Fulbright Scholarships-Fulbright Scholarships are among the most competitive and generous scholarships. The program welcomes Ph.D. applicants from any African destinations. It is open for all disciplines, but candidates are expected to enroll with a local university or a research institute. Scholarships cover an academic year of study.
- Eligibility-All African students are eligible to apply for the scholarship. It is mainly targeted at Africans who come from disadvantaged communities but demonstrate academic excellence and show outstanding leadership potential.
- Application requirements: prospective recipients have to be enrolled for a bachelor’s degree program at the institution. They must be able to send relevant supporting documents like transcripts or certificates from your high school with at least 5 passes at Ordinary level and 2 at Advanced level. The students must be able to prove their English proficiency as well.
