Angola Pre School Structure

Pre-primary education in Angola is divided into 3 types, namely creche for children from 3 months to 3 years of age),  Jardim de infancia for 3 and 4-year-olds, and iniciacao (year 0 or kindergarten) for children aged 5 years old. Until recently, preschools were under the responsibility of the Ministry of Social Action (MINARS) while the iniciacao or kindergarten schools were supervised by the  Ministry of Education (MED). As of 2017, the responsibility for early childhood education (ECE) was formally transferred to municipal education directorates, under the technical guidance of the Ministry of Education.

Cedars International School Of Angola

This is an international school offering education from kindergarten to the 12^th grade. It is committed to offering high-quality, challenging, international education. The school's academic calendar begins in September and ends in June.
