There are several options for accommodation for students to choose from in Angola.
Homestays- Homestays offer a family atmosphere and setup. Some provide meals, airport pickup, and a range of outdoor activities. They get to enjoy home-made meals and family activities. Homestays are cheaper and preferred by students. Some homestays simply offer the use of one of their rooms where a student can pay for the room but at the same time enjoy meals and activities with the families as per their agreement.
Student Residence- Most universities provide affordable accommodation for their students at an extra but not too expensive cost on fees. These residences have lockers already fitted and a desk and a bed to be used by the students. Some of the residences have shared bathrooms and lounge or common room where students can just sit up and rest and unwind.
Shared Apartments- to minimize the costs of accommodation, students can rent a shared room. Two students can share a room that has a bunk bed for 2 or side by side beds, a desk and chair, a wardrobe or closet, fan, shared bathroom, and Wi-Fi internet access is available. In this case, students can share the rent and utilities as per the arrangement with the landlord or owner.
Apartments – for students looking for privacy and personal space in Angola, they can rent apartments found all around the universities in Angola. Most of these apartments are usually fully furnished. These can be rented directly from the owners without deposit.
