The NSCES is currently offering seven undergraduate programmes in earth science, climate science, sustainable energy and water resources. The BISCH was operationalised in 2017 and is offering three undergraduate programmes in sports science, African Musicology and Indigenous Knowledge Systems and Practice.

The University Of Malawi College Of Medicine-It is located in Blantyre close to the Queen Elizabeth Centre Hospital, which is its main teaching hospital. The College offers a dynamic postgraduate training program.

The Malaria Alert Centre (MAC) and the Wellcome Trust Laboratories, are situated at the Hospital. The Wellcome Trust laboratories provide laboratory support for malaria research programs as well as access to the field where intervention studies can be conducted. Programs on offer are Health, Medicine, and Pharmacy.
