About Midlands State University:

The city of Gweru was founded by Dr.Leander Starr Jameson in 1894. In October 1973 the Gweru attained the status of the city and laterally became the capital of Midlands province. From then the University has specialized and excelled greatly in the faculty of commerce, although it has nine faculties and offers a wide range of courses and a number of specialist programs.
