Every year the university nominates high-achieving students to receive sponsorship from affiliated organizations and companies. For example Econet Zimbabwe. These students throughout their study have proven that they can succeed in their respective fields and are rewarded for their unwavering dedication to their studies. The scholarship lasts for the duration of their program and students can start vying for them as early as they are admitted into the University.
Zimbabwe Government Funding:
The Ministry of Education offers state grants for a full-time graduate degree program at any public-owned university in the country. These grants are provided by the ministry to better promote the country’s international relations with certain thereby only nationals of some listed countries qualify for this funding. For example countries like Sudan, Guinea, etc.
Presidential Scholarships
The Zimbabwe government offers scholarships to students that perform exceptionally in their studies. The scholarships are not only limited to international students only but available also to broad-based students. 1 500 scholarships are awarded to highly excelling students each year. The student covers the student’s tuition fees as well as accommodation fees also not forgetting a monthly waiver to cater to the student’s basic needs.

Manicaland State University of Applied Sciences is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the large town of Mutare, Manicaland. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education, Zimbabwe, Manicaland State University of Applied Sciences (MSUAS) is a coeducational higher education institution.
Manicaland State University of Applied Sciences (MSUAS) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in Sciences field. Manicaland State University of Applied Sciences offers four faculties namely Agricultural Science, Science, Natural Resources, and Tourism and Engineering. Fern Valley site is the College’s main campus located approximately ten kilometers out of Mutare along the Vumba road.

MSUAS is more of a community than a conventional university, every individual matter and social interactions are not restricted to the classroom alone. Mutare (known as Umtali until 1982 is the fourth largest city in Zimbabwe, with an urban population of approximately 188,243 and a rural population of approximately 260,567. It is the capital of Manicaland province. The town lies north of the Bvumba Mountains and south of the Imbeza Valley.
Christmas Pass is a mountain pass that leads into the city from the west. The pass was so named by some of the colonial pioneers who camped at the foot of the pass on Christmas Day 1890.
Mutare is home the Mutare Museum, the Utopia House Museum dedicated to Kingsley Fairbridge, the National Gallery of Zimbabwe, Murahwa Hill, known for its rock paintings and Iron Age village, Cross Kopje with a memorial to Zimbabweans and Mozambicans killed in World War I and a nature reserve Cecil Kopje and Tigers Kloof.
The Mutare Boys' High Chapel was constructed in honor of former Old boys who perished in World War II, situated on a hilly knoll at Mutare Boys High. Mutare is a Historic site with so much rich history to learn it is a peaceful town and a home to many friendly people.
