Rusangu University (RU) is an institution of higher learning operated by the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. It is licensed and registered as a private University under University Act 11 of 1999 by the Government of the Republic of Zambia. Rusangu University prepares students not only for professional careers but also equips them physically, mentally, socially and spiritually.
Monze is a small town in the Southern Province of Zambia and is about 180 km south-west of Lusaka. It is the administrative centre of Monze District. The town is named after Chief Monze, widely acknowledged as the spiritual leader of the Tonga people who inhabit the district.
