Being a foundation institution, DU founding principle is to provide quality education to students at an affordable rate and also provide numerous scholarship and funding opportunities to students.
The university has established multiple foreign, local, public, private, and internal schemes through which students can apply for scholarships and other forms of a fee reduction. For every foundation university, the most defining element is access to subsidized education.
Students who pay the tuition fee in cash are automatically offered a 10% discount on tuition. Scholarships offered at DU are accessible to both current and new students as well as local and international students.
Current students who performed exceptionally in the previous year and have maintained a CGPA of 3.5 and above are eligible for the merit scholarship, whereas, new students with an exceptional performance from high school or previous academic level are also eligible for scholarship opportunities ranging from 25%, 50%, and 100%.
Graduates from any of the Dogus institutions wishing to continue in DU are automatically granted a 50% scholarship.
Students who have performed exceptionally in sports and art are also granted social scholarship. This includes students who have won foreign and local competition as well as those who have represented the school or the country in art and sporting events. DU prides itself on its excellence in art and sport, for this reason, the university has established a formidable sports club providing a wide range of sporting activities.
Students can also clinch scholarship opportunities through the sibling scholarship, staff scholarship, double degree grant, and many more.
Current students at DU can apply to the Turkiye Burslari (Turkish Scholarships) which is a state-funded scholarship
opportunity granted to international students in Turkey. The scholarship covers tuition fees, housing, monthly allowance, and health insurance. Students are advised to apply for the Turkiye Burslari and the application starts at the beginning of every semester.

Although there are no on-campus dormitories owned by DU, the university partners with private dorm owners to provide students a comfortable and affordable accommodation.
The foreign student affairs are in charge of accommodation matters and would support students to secure accommodation space off campuses. Students are advised to let the office know of their intention to secure a private dorm space.
The private dorms usually contain a general reading room, central heating equipment, an eating space, working areas in rooms as well as other furniture. Most of the dorms have gyms as well as social areas for interaction and guest visits. There is also the provision of internet cables for student's utility all at no extra cost.
The private dorms could be a room ranging from 1-6 persons, students are advised to choose depending on their budget. However, these dorms are very affordable and close to campus, hence, students transportation cost to campus is removed.
Similarly, the price of the dorm includes the cost of bills and other extra services offered by the management. Students in some dorms are required to pay a particular sum as a deposit which will be refunded in full upon the student’s exit from the private dorm.

Dogus University boasts of a semi-Olympic pool in its ultra-modern sports center filled with other kinds of sports. Various sporting activities such as gymnastics, table tennis, Zumba, dance lessons, basketball, archer, swimming, and many more are conducted on the campus.
