As a result of the university being non-profit and due to its public legal entity status, Beykent University has provided students with a wide range of scholarship opportunities to choose from, ranging from academic to social life.
The university is famous for its numerous scholarship programs and avenues where student’s educational burdens can be relieved. Similarly, there are multiple
foreign funding opportunities provided to students by both private and public companies. Some of the scholarships provided by the institution include a 50% tuition waiver for students who are above in their classes for two consecutive semesters.
Similarly, merit scholarships are granted to newly applying students with exceptional grades in their high school certificates.
Another scholarship granted by Beykent University is the sibling scholarship provided for siblings from the same household. The children of workers of the institution can also benefit from the relationship benefit.
Furthermore, students who are graduates from Beykent University and decides to continue in the same institution can access the continuation scholarship.
For athletes, there is the scholarship provided for sportsmen and women to support them in their careers and dreams. There is also an art scholarship presented to students who have represented the university or their country in one art competition or another.
Current international students can also apply from the Turkish government scholarship known as Turkiye Buslari. This scholarship covers housing cost, monthly stipends, entire tuition fee upon the maintenance of a very high CGPA, and health insurance.
Turkiye Buslari is opened every semester and students are advised to check for eligibility requirements for each scholarship before applying.

Beykent is a non-profit private university established in 1997. Although a private university, Beykent has a public legal entity status, hence, tuition fees are similar to those of public institutions.
The school was founded on the principle that education is important for the growth of individuals and the growth of nations. Beykent University is a prestigious institution conducting learning in numerous languages and awarding certificates and diplomas that are recognized globally.
As one of the easily recognized institutions in Istanbul, Turkey, Beykent University combines the use of valuable tools and standard technology in the learning process. This explains why the institution has grown to open three campuses around Istanbul.

Accommodation is very important for every student planning to study at Beykent University and in Istanbul. Students are advised to settle their accommodation issues before coming to Istanbul to save them from further incurred cost and instability.
The university dorm is in the Sariyer Campus. Each room in the dormitory is fully equipped with the basic needs of students. It is common to find in each room equipment such as TV, fridge, chairs, cookers, reading tables, laundry places, and lounging areas.
For students living in the dorm, the OHSC is their main point of contact for dorm issues and health matters on campus.
Similarly, the dorms are fully secured to provide students maximum protection while on campus. The prices of the dorm differ according to the number of persons in the room. It is important to note that the dormitory also boasts of a gym wherein students can use it.
Living off-campus is dependent on many factors, with the most important being your budget.
There are different steps to finding a house in Istanbul but the student support office is always ready to assists in this process. The cost of accommodation ranges from location but it usually starts from 150 US dollars per month.
Students have the luxury of choosing between single apartments, shared apartments, condos, and student dorms. While the student dorms usually come with utility bills attached to the rent, students living in apartments and condos may be requested to pay for their bills separately from the rent.
The office of Health, Culture, and Sports (OHCS) was created to meet student’s social needs on campus. This office is concerned with providing student’s food, accommodation, health, sports, and social events.
Through this office, students are encouraged to participate in sporting activities whereby winners are awarded scholarships and other exciting gifts are won. Similarly, through the OHCS, sports competitions are organized between Beykent University and other universities within and outside Turkey.
As a university which believes in student’s growth and development in all parts of their lives, the institution has created sporting centers and gyms that are opened to only staff and students of the institution.
Therefore, students are advised to show their ID Cards before using the sports center. Some of the numerous sports offered in the sports center include basketball, football, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, and many others.
The university gym is in the Sariyer campus. The multipurpose gym comprises of numerous equipment that can serve many people at a particular time. Similarly, there are sports experts and personal trainers in the gym providing guidance and support to users.
It is pertinent to note that sports scholarships are granted to highly performing sports students. Also, students who are not staying in the Sariyer region can use other private sports centers at highly discounted rates using their student ID cards.
Besides the numerous restaurants and coffee stores located on campus, the location of the university puts it in a very favorable location.
There are numerous chains and food stores close to campus which serve quality and affordable food to students and staff. Similarly, the cost of feeding in Istanbul is estimated to start from 4 USD per day which is very affordable compared to other major cities of the world.
Due to the huge influx of foreign students, they are numerous foreign stores serving foreign food as well as providing food supplies, hence, a student can make their local meal.
Transportation in Istanbul is highly advanced and works round the clock. Additionally, through the use of any of the various means of transportation, anywhere in the city can be reached.
The city boasts of numerous ways of transportation such as Trams, trains, metro buses, underground trains, taxis, ferries, mini and long buses, and many others. Students can access a great discount from using their student transport cards.
