Scholarships at Altinbas University
Being one of the cheapest private institutions, Altinbas University has established numerous avenues to support student education.
Similarly, access to easy scholarship is one of the principles of the university, hence, grants and student scholarships are held at high esteem by the university management.
Furthermore, due to its partnership with numerous companies, Altinbas University has established foreign scholarships for its student with their foreign partners, therefore, students can enjoy both local and international benefits from the institution.
Scholarships offered at Altinbas University is accessible to both current and new students as well as local and international students.
Honor scholarships are granted to students who are already enrolled in the university and have maintained a CGPA of 3.5 and above.
The student with the highest GPA gets a 100% scholarship, the second-highest, gets 50%, while the third position gets 25% off from the annual tuition fee.
Sports and art scholarships are also awarded to students who have represented the university or the country in sports and art competitions.
The percentage of the scholarship is to be determined by the board of trustees, however, this proves the importance granted to sports and arts by the university.
The university has a wide range of sporting activities, therefore, students have a greater opportunity of clinching sports scholarship. Other kinds of grants include sibling scholarship, staff scholarship, extra year grant, double degree grant, and many more.
Besides the numerous scholarship sponsored by local and international firms, the state-funded Turkiye Burslari (Turkish Scholarships) is granted to currently enrolled international students in Turkey.
The scholarship covers tuition fees, housing, monthly allowance, and health insurance. Students are advised to apply for the Turkiye Burslari which is usually held every semester.

Altinabas University was established in 2008 as Istanbul Kemer Burgaz University by the Mehmet Altinbas Education and Culture Foundation. Its name got changed to Altinbas University in 2017.
Altinbas University is a subsidiary of the prestige Altinbas family in Turkey, the university was established to become a legacy of educational power and strength in Turkey.
The university bases its specialization on research and development, therefore, establishing multiple patents and supporting research programs and practices around the world.

All international students possessing a residency permit (students staying over 6 months) can join the “National Health Insurance" or possess private health insurance. By joining this insurance plan, the personal burden of medical expenses is significantly reduced.
Erasmus
The university as a member of the European Erasmus scheme conducts exchange students with other universities. Eligible students can apply for Erasmus exchange programs and can spend a semester or less at another European university, thus, experiencing different cultures and traditions while in a new learning environment

Residents of the dormitories are expected to deposit a sum of $500 upon check-in which will be paid back in full when they are checking out. The dormitories usually organize sports and food events every semester.

Students can choose whichever private they decide to stay in based on their budget and room availability.
Private dorms which possess similar furniture and equipment as the school dorms, however, some of them serve breakfast and dinner which is inclusive in the cost of the dormitory.

Sports at Altinbas University is supervised by the Health, Culture, and Sports Department (HCS). Sporting activities transcends the physical to also represent physiotherapeutic and psychological.
Through sports, students are expected to develop their mental minds, talents, skills, and personalities. HCS provides students with all the help they may need in the aspect of sports, by developing students into sports expert.
