İÜYÖS Exam for International Students wanting to study in Turkey

The Turkish Council of Higher Education has recently taken a decision that will greatly affect the applications of international students. The decision states that a central YÖS exam will be held as of 2022-2023 academic year in order to get admission to Turkish Universities meaning that international students who are successful in the YÖS exam only will be able to enrol in the Turkish Universities. RocApply will be helping all students with meaning the process of applying and writing the YÖS exam.

    Gazi University

    Gazi University, the foundations of which were laid in 1926 by the instruction of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, was opened under the name of "Middle Teachers' School and Education Institute". Its name was changed to "Gazi Middle Teachers School and Education Institute" in 1929, and in 1976 it was renamed "Gazi Education Institute". In 1982 it gained the identity of "Gazi University".

    Ankara Music and Fine Arts University

    Ankara Music and Fine Arts University were established in 2017, the university campus has a closed area of 23600 m² and a surface area of 54462 m² and includes 4 Faculties, 1 Institute and 1 Vocational School.

    Ataturk University

    Atatürk University was officially established on 7 June 1957. Atatürk University is an educational institution that has made numerous contributions to the country and the scientific world since 1957 and is one of Turkey's most well-established higher education institutions.

    Gaziantep University

    Gaziantep University, which is the trade and industry centre of the region and is named after the province of Gaziantep, started its education in 1973 with the Mechanical Engineering Department, which was established under the METU Faculty of Engineering. With the opening of the Electrical Engineering Department in 1974, these two departments were transformed into Gaziantep Engineering Faculty.

    Firat University

    Firat University is a state university located in Elazig. Founded in 1975, the university takes its name from the Turkish name for the Euphrates River, which originates near Elazig. The university is one of the largest academic institutions in eastern Turkey.
