Since Chelmsford is a very quaint and homely location, there is a student village operated by the university and situated right in the middle of campus.
Rooms in the student village are well furnished and come with many amenities that are very essential for a comfortable stay.
The rooms also come en-suite with bathrooms or single with shared bathrooms, utilities such as electricity, water, internet are all-inclusive.
A reading table and ergonomic chair with a wardrobe and bookshelf are also provided. There are laundry and dry cleaning services as well as 24-hour surveillance and security.
Outside ARU’s main campus area in Cambridge, Chelmsford, and Peterborough, there are many other areas that have a range of properties from private dormitories and halls of residence to lodgings and shared houses in an apartment for students who wish to live on their own or with their friends in order to save costs.
Chelmsford is the county town of Essex and it is very much a commuter haven thanks to its mainline train station with a direct link to London, Liverpool in just 35 minutes.
The rivers Chelmer and Khan flowing in and out of the town add a scenic dimension as does the impressive Chelmsford Cathedral not too far from the high street.
The area is also surrounded by several picture-Esque villages complete with thatched cottages, dark ponds, and views over the beautiful Essex countryside.
