About Dubai

Dubai is a glittering metropolis and the fastest-growing desert city in the world, and a tourist haven. On its own, the city stands out as one of the fastest-developing emirates in the Middle East, as one of the seven emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates and established in December 1971.

The city is governed by an absolute monarch, who is also the prime minister and vice president of the country. Due to its location, the city has no natural rivers and utilizes artificial creeks, also dues to its climate there are several other man-made temperature regulators that make the city habitable.

Despite being a major oil-exporting city, Dubai is also a major investor in solar power and is seeking for more natural ways to diversify its economy. With a population of over 4 million people, more than 85% of the city’s residents are foreigners coming from countries like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and the Philippines.

The Dubai police have a fleet of multi-million dollar automobiles, one of the first in the world. The city is also home to some of the best attractions in the world like the Burj Khalifa which is the tallest-man made structure in the world, and the Dubai Airport which is one of the best airports and most frequented airports in the globe.
