The institute is the first private art institute offering arts courses at a bachelor's level in the Czech Republic. It offers the program in English Language and its Bachelor of Arts program is composed of various important curricula necessary for student development. The tuition fee for the 2020/2021 academic year is €5,600 and this applies to all levels of study.

Founded in 2013, the art and design institute was founded as an institution for providing quality education. The institution established as the first private college of fine arts in all of the Czech Republic offers quality art education to its students.
The institution provides a perfect blend of classical and modern art practice. Similarly, students are taught the basics of these various forms of arts and how to implement them. As an art institute, ADI does not only focus on one branch of art but also incorporates other branches of art to prepare students for all-round success.
Besides the practical approach to arts, students also learn the theoretical approach of business which teaches them business activities like auctions, exhibitions, art store set up and art gallery establishment. Students are also taught about the psychology of arts, thus, preparing them on how to interpret art and tell stories through their arts.
The institute covers six major art fields which include; Painting, Graphics, Photography, Art design/interior, Intermedia, and Multimedia. Students are then expected to choose any two from these six options they best identify with. The staff at ADI are equally professionals and experts in the art industry.
The institute aims to become the most recognizable art college in all of Europe. The degrees awarded are internationally accepted and there is a huge representation of foreign students. FacilitiesADI combines an innovative approach to its learning process. In this regard, world standard facilities and equipment are used in every part of the university. In addition to the standard lecture rooms and offices, ADI boosts of having a multimedia studio, photograph studio, graphic studio, and an art library. Although they are no on-campus dormitories for students, the institute maintains close contacts with student homeowners and other housing agencies to provide affordable accommodation for students. The international student department is in charge of accommodation matters. The range of available accommodation varies greatly, but all satisfy specific standards and are located within a short distance from the different campuses.
Renting private houses and apartments is done according to the budget. Students can choose from several housing options and the college often assists them in arranging these accommodations with the landlords. The expense of leasing off-campus apartments changes from area to area in proximity to the city center and they have different conditions for rent. Commonly, the cost of renting an apartment a month usually starts from €350. To reduce costs, students live in shared apartments.
Renting an apartment out of campus usually means that utilities such as electricity, water, heating, cable tv, and internet all come separate from the rent, and students would have to pay the utility bill. However, the cost of living in Prague is relatively low compared to other European cities.
There are restaurants and canteens on campus providing fresh meals to students and staff at a very affordable rate. Being a modern city, Prague is filled with numerous fast-food chains, restaurants, bars, cafes, and other eating points selling food at a very affordable rate. The student can also cook their food.
For students who prefer to cook, the cost of feeding in Prague is relatively cheaper compared to other European capital cities, students can buy fresh ingredients from the market and make their food. Bearing in mind the diverse nature of the location, students can easily choose from a wide range of food items that they are familiar with.
Public transportation in Prague includes the metro, tram, funiculars, buses, commuter S trains, and ferries. Transportation is usually cheap and even cheaper for students. Being that ADI is in the center of town, commuting to the school's location is extremely easy.
