National Chengchi University, it first established in Nanjing , Republic of China in 1927 and then relocated to Taipei in 1954.It is considered as the first public service training institution in Taiwan and is as one of the most prominent and prestigious institution in Taiwan.
Chengchi means governance or politics and it refers to its founding as a training institution for civil service officials of the Nanjing Nationalist government of the Republic of China.
