Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) is one of three public universities located in the city center of Lemesos (Limassol), Republic of Cyprus. It was established in 2004 and received its first students in 2007. CUT is modern, groundbreaking and internationally recognised for its ability to provide education and high-level research in leading research fields that have a significant impact on the economic, technological and scientific sectors. The university is oriented towards applied research and aims to play a supporting role in various fields of science and technology.
Limassol is a city on the south coast of Cyprus. It is famous for its centuries-old Limassol Castle, which houses the Cyprus Medieval Museum and a collection of pottery and tombstones. On the seafront is the Prokymea (Molos) Sculpture Park with sculptures by Cypriot, Greek and international artists. To the northeast is the Limassol Archaeological Museum, displaying artifacts from Neolithic to Roman times.
