Fulbright Scholarships

This scholarship is open for Ph.D. applicants from any country to study in any institution around the world. It is open to all disciplines and candidates must be enrolled with a local university or a research institute in Saint Kitts and Nevis, and covers an academic year of study.

  • Eligibility-All country nationals from disadvantaged communities but showing excellent academic, and leadership potential are eligible.
  • Application requirements: prospective recipients have to be enrolled for a degree program at any institution in saint Kitts and Nevis. The students must also have proof of their English proficiency

Royal Society International Exchange Programme

This scholarship offers partial funding for international students. This Post-Doctoral scholarship is for students pursuing Natural Sciences. This scholarship can be taken at any UK and overseas institutions.

  • Benefits: The scholarship offers Travel allowances and Research expenditure to all its beneficiaries.

WMF Empowerment Through Education Scholarships for Developing Country Students

This scholarship covers Bachelor’s Degree studies conducted in any developing country. it provides undergraduate scholarships to nationals from developing countries to study in their home or a neighboring country.

Institution-Your choice of institution in your own country or another developing country

Level/Field of study- Bachelor's Degree in any field of study but applications are encouraged from those interested in pursuing degrees that will best help their local communities including medicine and health sciences, community development, law, education, social work, business, information technology, agriculture, and engineering.

Target group- Citizens from any developing country

Benefits- the scholarship benefits range from $300 to $3000 throughout the undergraduate program. Scholarships may be used for tuition and fees, books and materials, and other related costs including rentals and meals, etc.

Eligibility- the ideal candidates:

  • must have completed secondary education, with good to excellent grades
  • must be 35 years old or below
  • Will be studying in his or her country or another developing country in the world
  • Must be pursuing a first bachelor’s degree
  • must be enrolled in a program of study that will benefit the community or contribute to the continued growth and advancement of his or her home country
  • the student must be planning to live and work in his or her own country after graduation
  • the student must have demonstrated commitment to giving back and has volunteered before applying
  • the student must have some other funds available for his or her education, but will not be able to go to pursue his or her tertiary degree without financial assistance

Banting International Postdoctoral Fellowship

This is a scholarship program offered by the Government of Canada for post-doctoral students. this offers partial funding to all nationals to study at any research institutes around the world.

  • Eligibility- This open to all students studying at any university. Students must be studying in areas of Engineering, Humanities, Health, and Sciences
  • Requirements-Students must provide their academic documents and relevant certificates from the bachelor's and master's level. The student must prove that they are studying towards a post-doctoral degree.

Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarships

This is awarded to undergraduates with outstanding financial constraints. Undergraduate Applicants are welcome to apply for up to $7,000 to be awarded per scholarship.

  • Eligibility- Students must show that they have critical financial aid needs and priority will also be given to people with disabilities and female students who have previously been disadvantaged or overlooked.
  • Requirements. Prospective candidates must have a proven record of leadership in their community.
